How to create a popup

Creating a popup in Pop Convert is quick and effective. It helps you engage visitors, capture leads, and boost conversions. Follow these simple steps to launch your first popup:


From the sidebar menu on the left, select Popups > Campaigns.
Go to the top right corner of the page and click Create Popup.
Give your popup a descriptive name to help you identify its purpose (e.g., "Newsletter Signup" or "Black Friday Offer").
Select the primary goal of your popup from the options available:
Get Subscribers - Collect email addresses or phone numbers.
Traffic to URL - Direct users to a specific webpage.
Announcement - Share important information, like new product launches or store updates.
Upsell/Cross-sell - Promote related or additional products.
Spin-to-Win Wheel - Use gamification to engage users with a spin-to-win wheel.
Coupon - Offer a discount code to encourage purchases.
Social Shares - Drive traffic to your social media profiles.
Timer - Add a countdown timer to create urgency and encourage immediate action.
Image - Show a custom image to highlight a promotion, product, or announcement.
Video - Embed a video to explain, promote, or showcase your product or message.
Click Create Popup to move on to the configuration settings.
Adjust the settings to customize your popup’s appearance, behavior, and targeting options.
Once you're happy with your popup settings, click the Save button to save your changes, then hit Publish.

DESIGN
Main Styles – Control the overall appearance of your popup. You can choose background and text colors, add a background image or border, adjust font styles, and fine-tune the opacity, padding, and width to get the exact look you want.
Hero Layout - Add a bold, eye-catching image to your popup and choose its position (top, left, or right). On mobile, the image will automatically appear at the top for optimal display. You can also upload a separate image for mobile to ensure a perfect fit.
Input & Button Styles - Customize the colors and styling of input fields and buttons to match your popup’s design and maintain brand consistency.
Popup Type - Choose how your popup appears: either as a fullscreen takeover or as a smaller [fly-in popup]() from the corner of the screen.


CONTENT
Pick from any of these content blocks to add to your popup and arrange them in any order to get the layout you want. You can easily drag, drop, and move these blocks around to build a popup that meets your needs.
Text - Add customized text to share your message.
Image - Include images to make your popup visually appealing.
Button - Use buttons for calls-to-action, like directing users to a new page.
Form - Collect information with input fields for email, phone numbers, and more.
Social - Add links to social media platforms to boost your following.
Divider - Separate sections for a cleaner, more organized look.
Spacer - Add space between elements for better readability.
Timer - Create urgency with a countdown timer.
Coupon - Display discount codes to incentivize purchases.
Video - Include a video for added engagement and storytelling.
Sticker - Use eye-catching stickers to highlight special offers.
Products - Showcase products directly within the popup to drive interest.

SETTINGS
Time Settings - Control when your popup appears and how often it should be shown to visitors. You can also set delays for when a popup reappears after being closed.
GDPR Compliance - Add a GDPR consent message to your popup to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. This option is available for the Get Subscribers and Coupon popup goals.

Webhooks - Connect your popup to external tools or apps by sending form data to a webhook URL. Useful for integrating with CRMs, automation tools, or custom workflows.
Advanced Settings - Add custom [CSS]() or [JavaScript]() to fully control your popup's appearance and behavior. Ideal for users comfortable with code who want to customize fonts, spacing, animations, and more.

DISPLAY
Button Trigger - Enable the sticky button on the side of the screen to keep your popup accessible.
Display Schedule - Control when your popups are shown by setting a schedule for their appearance.
Display Pages - Select which pages on your website will show the popups so you can reach the right audience.
Display Locations - Choose the countries or regions where you want your popup to appear, so you can target specific regions with your offers.

CONVERSION
The Conversion option is accessible for the Get Subscribers and Coupon goals. This feature enables you to display a customized message or redirect your website visitors to a specific URL after they have successfully submitted their contact information.

EMAIL
Create a new email or choose an existing one to connect to your popup.
