How to set up an automated email to connect to a Popup or Smart Bar

Open your Popup or Smart Bar campaign.
Click on "Email" and then "Create Email."
Add a title for your automated email and click "Select a Template."
Choose from the available email templates and click "Use Template" for your selected option.
Click on "Create Email."
Click on "Edit Email" to customize your email to match your brand.

How to make the image full-size:

Upload the image.
Click on the image, then navigate to the Dimension section in the settings panel on the left.
Set the Padding to 0.

How to add blocks to the email:

Select the block you want to add.
Drag it to the email editor and drop it where you'd like it to appear.

How to add social media icons:

Select the Social block and drop it into the editor.
By default, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook icons are included. To add another social media icon, duplicate one of the existing icons.
Click "Replace" to add the new social media logo.
Enter the social media URL in the Link Address field.

How to make the button's corners round:

Click on the button block.
In the left-hand control panel, scroll down to the Border section.
Adjust the radius to your desired value.

Difference between welcome email automation and popup/smart bar email automation

The welcome email is automatically sent to every new contact added to Shopify. These contacts can originate from Shopify itself or other integrated apps, not just those collected through Pop Convert. For example, when a new customer subscribes to the store’s Shopify newsletter (often found at the bottom of the website), their contact information is added to Shopify’s customer list, triggering the welcome email. Additionally, you can create a series of welcome emails to follow up with new contacts.

On the other hand, email automation connected to a popup or smart bar is triggered only when visitors take specific actions within these elements. For example, when a visitor enters their email address into a popup or smart bar to receive a discount or sign up for updates, this action activates an automated email, which is usually sent immediately.
