Email new subscribers (Pop Convert Email)
Pop Convert now allows you to send automated emails directly from your dashboard! This new feature enhances your marketing capabilities by integrating email automations with your popups and smart bars.
Popup & Smart Bar Connected Emails are automatically sent when a visitor submits their email address through a popup or smart bar on your website.
How do they work?
When a visitor enters their email address in a popup or smart bar, it triggers the automated email.
These emails should be linked to a specific popup or smart bar campaign. This means that the email is part of the promotion or offer that the visitor interacted with.
Steps to set up Popup & Smart Bar Connected Emails
You can create a Popup & Smart Bar Connected Email in two ways: directly from the Popup/Smart Bar page or through the Emails page. Here’s how to do it using both methods:
Method 1: Through the Popup/Smart Bar Page
Navigate to the popup you’ve already created.
In the navigation menu, click on Email.
Click on Create Email.
Enter the email name or title, then click on Select a Template.
Browse the available templates and click on Use this Template once you find one you like, then select Create Email.
Click on the pencil icon to start editing the email content. You can use this guide to help with the editing process.
Once you’re done editing, save the email and activate it. You can also send a test email to see how it appears.
Method 2: Through the Emails Page
In your Pop Convert dashboard, click on the Emails tab.
In the upper right-hand corner, click on New Email.
Enter the email name, then click on Select a Template.
Select from the available templates and click on Use this Template.
Choose the popup or smart bar campaign you want to link the email to and click Create Email. You can use this guide to help with the editing process.
After editing your email, save it and activate it. You can also send a test email to preview how it looks.
Shop Automations are automated email flows designed to enhance customer engagement and streamline communication. These flows trigger specific emails based on customer actions.
Types of shop automations:
Welcome Email Flow
The Welcome Email Flow is triggered when a customer signs up for your newsletter, regardless of whether they were collected through Pop Convert. This email provides an excellent opportunity to introduce your brand, share your values, and offer a special discount or promotion to encourage their first purchase.
Abandoned Cart Flow
If a customer adds items to their cart but doesn’t complete the checkout, this email reminds them of their unpurchased items. You can include incentives like free shipping or a discount to encourage them to return and finish the purchase.
Order Thanks Flow
After a customer places an order, an automated “Thank You” email is sent to confirm their purchase and provide details. It can also include related product suggestions or a discount for future purchases.
