These emails should be linked to a specific popup or smart bar campaign. This means that the email is part of the promotion or offer that the visitor interacted with.

Steps to set up Popup & Smart Bar Connected Emails You can create a Popup & Smart Bar Connected Email in two ways: directly from the Popup/Smart Bar page or through the Emails page. Here’s how to do it using both methods:

From the sidebar menu on the left, select “Popup.”
Go to the top right corner of the page and click “Create Popup.”
Give your popup a descriptive name to help you identify its purpose (e.g., "Newsletter Signup" or "Black Friday Offer").
Select the primary goal of your popup from the options available:

Get Subscribers - Collect email addresses or phone numbers.
Traffic to URL - Direct users to a specific webpage.
Announcement - Share important information, like new product launches or store updates.
Upsell/Cross-sell - Promote related or additional products.

Let’s break down how each option works:

Every New Session When you choose "Every New Session," the popup will only reappear when a visitor starts a new session, if they have closed the popup without providing contact information. A new session begins when a user closes their browser and returns to your website or if there is a long enough gap in activity that ends the previous session.
Every Page Load When "Every Page Load" is selected, the popup will reappear each time a page is refreshed or loaded if the user has closed it without providing contact information. This happens regardless of whether the visitor is still in the same session.

**NOTE: ** If the user provides their contact information and then closes the popup, it will not appear again. However, if they clear their cookies or browse in incognito mode, we won’t recognize them as the same user, and the popup may reappear.

Popup or smart bar is not enabled

Solution: Ensure that the popup or smart bar is enabled. You can do this by going to your popup or smart bar campaigns page. If you are using the popup editor, make sure to click "Publish."

Pop Convert is not enabled in your theme

Solution:

Navigate to "Online Store" > "Themes" in your Shopify dashboard.
Select the theme you're using and click on "Customize."
Look for "App embed" on the left-hand side of the editor and search for "Pop Convert." Enable it from there.

Popup is scheduled to appear on a certain date.

Solution: Access your popup editor and navigate to Display > Display Schedule. Confirm that the specified start and end dates are accurately entered.

Popup is set to appear on a certain page.

Solution: Within your popup editor, go to Display > Display Pages. Ensure you are testing your popup on the designated page where the popup or smart bar is intended to appear.
